Last week I joined my husband in this new decade -- my fifties!  My goal for this decade is to find balance and fitness.

My forties was the decade of work and earning.  I worked hard and traveled long.  I exercised, some.  I ate healthy, sometimes.  I slept, occasionally. 

It would be easy to blame my off-balance life on the demands of my job.  But that wouldn't be fair.  Other road warriors found time for exercise and chose to eat well.  Many more didn't, but I saw enough who did take care of themselves to know it can be done.

Now it's my turn!  I'm going to spend this decade relearning how to fit fun and health into my life.  Life is good.
